Good afternoon! After a briefing today with the National Weather Service and Bossier Parish emergency agencies, Bossier Schools will be open Thursday, January 9. However, the YEP program will be canceled and all extracurricular and after-school activities will be postponed until a later time.
We will continue to carefully monitor the forecast and provide an update at 4 p.m. Thursday regarding school operations on Friday.
Stay tuned for further information and remember, if you do not already have the Bossier Schools district app, this is a great time to download it so you will get updates from the district in real time. Here’s how to find it:

We sure had a fun-filled hour spreading some cheer today for the Bossier vs Caddo Schools 11th Annual Red Kettle Challenge benefiting The Salvation Army!


We were SO honored to have the talented Haughton Middle School Band perform some fan-favorite Christmas tunes today! 🎶
Their amazing performance truly spread holiday cheer, and our Wranglers couldn’t get enough!
A huge THANK YOU to the band for filling the air with joy and music!
