**Friday (October 30) we are celebrating 'Kindness Day'. October is National Bullying Prevention Month & students may wear an Orange or Halloween shirt (uniform bottoms).

Congratulations are in order for one of our Rodes Kindergarten teachers! Mrs. Otwell was awarded Brookshire's 'Supplies for Schools' for her classroom. She received a gift basket that included gift cards and classroom supplies. Her students also got in on the award with cupcakes & balloons! Say Cheese, Wranglers! Our Fall (Yearbook) Picture Day is Thursday, October 1st. These pictures are yearbook pictures, so students are asked to wear a red, navy, white or gray shirt for picture day. (NO colored class shirts, please!) Students will come home with a yellow half sheet of paper with a QR code for you to scan. You will scan this, put in your information and then you be alerted as to when the pictures are available to view. So please check your child's folder for these yellow sheets! Mrs. King's class headed out on their first Community Based Involvement field trip and had an action packed day! They got to tour a police car, meet police officers, saw firetrucks in action and picked out books at the library. Thank you to our Haughton community for always welcoming our Wranglers!
