3rd Grade Parents and Guardians,
On Tuesday, April 7, your child will take the K–3 Literacy Screener. This assessment is very important, and we want all students to perform at their very best.
To help your child be successful, please ensure they: Get a good night’s rest the evening before. Eat a healthy breakfast. Arrive at school on time. We are confident that our students are well-prepared and will do an excellent job! Thank you for your continued support.

If your child loves to move, perform, and be part of a fun, spirited team, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved. Our dance line focuses on building confidence, teamwork, school pride, and of course—having FUN!

Dear PDHS Elementary Families,
We are excited to share that our campus is receiving some wonderful upgrades, including a resurfaced track and new LED football stadium lights! With construction still in progress and not scheduled to be completed before the end of the school year, we need to adjust our plans for Elementary Field Day.
Field Day has been rescheduled to the last day of school — Tuesday, May 19, 2026. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all students, the event will be held inside the main gym this year.
Event Schedule:
PreK – 2nd Grade: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
3rd – 5th Grade: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
We look forward to celebrating a fantastic 2025–2026 school year with our students and families and hope you will join us for this fun-filled day!

ALL 9th graders will have a virtual day at home. 9th graders do not come to school tomorrow.
