Students that are interested in joining the new Benton High School Shooting Sports club, there will be a meeting this Friday during Flex Time in the library. The shooting sports included are shotgun modified trap and skeet shooting. Deputy Lonadier will be there to answer questions and provide information. If you are interested but cannot attend the meeting Friday stop by Mrs. Clarke's room B105 in the science hall for more information.

Friendly reminder about carline...…please pull ALL THE WAY FORWARD so we can fit as many cars in the driveway as possible. Once the carline starts moving, please try to pull up as far as you can before stopping to get your student so we can keep things moving. Thank you!!

🚨IMPORTANT YEARBOOK PICKUP INFO🚨 Yearbooks have been delivered, and we are ready for LAST YEARS GRADUATES to come pick theirs up. Our former graduates can come pick up their yearbook Wednesday between 9:00am-1:00pm and on Thursday between 3:00-5:00pm. Pickup will be in the cafeteria. All current BHS students will receive their yearbooks during their lunchtime Thursday and Friday!

Due to some changes in the State with Drivers Ed, we will have to delay our Drivers Ed sign up until further notice. We will send out more information in a few weeks.

Bossier Schools has revised its cell phone policy in response to a new state law that restricts students from using cell phones and other electronic devices during the instructional day. Please note the following revisions: Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during instructional time, including from the time students get on/off the bus or in/out of a personal vehicle while on campus; Electronic communication devices, including but not limited to personal computers, laptops, electronic instruments, iPads, iPods, tablet devices, e-readers or similar devices, must be powered off and properly stowed for the duration of the school day. Each violation will result in the collection of the cell phone/electronic device. More information regarding disciplinary action can be found in school handbooks. *Please note the revised policy does not apply to students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)/Individualized Accommodation Plan (IAP), Section 504 plan or Individualized Health Plan that requires use of an electronic telecommunication device.

10-12 Grade Back to School night will be Monday August 5th from 4:00-5:30pm. This is a come and go event! **Freshman will have orientation that morning and will have the opportunity to walk their schedule and see the campus then.
