Yee Haw Kindergarten & 1st Grade Wranglers! It's time for our Beginning of the Year Literacy Screener! The screener will be on Tuesday (8/18) & Wednesday (8/19). The screener helps our teachers see what students already know and where we can best support their learning and growth this year! *Please be sure you are in the CORRECT grade level lane once you are in the 'loop'. (See graphic)
*Car tags need to be hanging up until your child(ren) are INSDIE your vehicle.
*If your child(ren) need help buckling their seatbelts/car seat buckles, please go to a 'buckle zone' (aka our parking lots) & pull into a stall to help your child(ren).

Lil Bucs Cheer Clinic is coming up, and we’re ready to welcome our future Bucs to the HMS Cheer family! ❤️🏴☠️
Join us Saturday, September 12, for a morning full of CHEER, FUN, and a little Country & Western flair! Participants will learn:
⭐ Cheer motions
⭐ Jumps
⭐ Sideline chants
⭐ A fun dance
And YES… they’ll get to show off everything they learned on the field at Haughton Middle School’s FIRST HOME FOOTBALL GAME on September 15!! 📣🏴☠️
Each participant receives a Lil Bucs spirit T-shirt to wear for the performance!
💰 Registration: $35 per cheerleader

As we gear up for back to school, please keep in mind that EACH year, students will need updated Health Care Plans for medicine and cafeteria food modifications (diet orders) including food allergies. If this applies to your child, please be sure & get your paperwork turned in to ensure a smooth start to the school year. Any medication will need to be dropped off at the office by a parent or guardian - NOT in backpacks! You may begin to drop off forms along with medication any time during office hours. Thank you!
