Empresa Operating, LLC awarded scholarships to two outstanding Benton High School graduating seniors planning to major in a STEM related field. Congratulations to Haley Johnson and Samantha Keith! ✏️ ASVAB Test Sign Up ✏️
The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) will be offered at Benton High School on Monday, March 31, 2025. If you are interested in joining the military, you definitely need to sign-up.
However, the ASVAB is not just a military test. Taking the ASVAB will give you access to an entire Career Exploration Program that will help you identify and explore career fields that are best suited for you. Complete this Google Form or stop by Mrs. Varnado's office (B-101) during non-class times to sign-up. Seats are limited to the first 60 students that sign up.

🚨Attendance Reminders 🚨

📍Make sure to get school excuses are turned in in a timely manner. Excuses can be emailed, faxed, or a paper copy turned in to the attendance office.
📍If you know your student is going to be out for the day, please call the attendance office at (318) 759-2588 and let Mrs. Caksey know. Over the phone check outs should also be done through this number.

✏️ Mark Your Calendars: ACT Day ✏️
ALL Sophomores, Juniors, and select Seniors will take the ACT test on March 25th.
📍 All Non-testers (students not scheduled to take the ACT) will participate in a virtual learning day from home on March 25th. This includes all 9th graders and any other students who aren’t assigned to take the ACT test that day.
