SRO Officer

T.L. Rodes LOVE Deputy Preibus!

We are so lucky to have Deputy Preibus at our school each and every day! Students love seeing her in the hallways and classrooms as she monitors and serves our school.

A Mission Statement by Deputy Preibus:

A School Resource Officer (SRO) is a highly qualified, POST certified (Peace Officer Standards Training) law enforcement officer. The SRO is assigned to a specific school by Bossier Parish Sheriff, Julian Whittington.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office views the SRO Program as an opportunity to continue the strong partnership with the Bossier Parish School District, to ensure a safe working and learning environment for students, teachers, administrators, and support staff. As a result of this relationship, we will be better equipped to identify and address the needs and concerns of our students and staff.

Deputy Preibus remains a visible law enforcement presence on campus to deter, prevent, and respond to crime. She also works closely with administrators on law-related matters, assists with school safety needs, student presence, and serves as a vital link to other emergency personnel during critical incidents.

Ensuring a safe and loving environment for children to learn, grow, and play.

Teaching respect, responsibility, personal safety, and how to recognize a trusted adult.

Building trust and lifelong friendships through visits, mentoring, and play.
